School Murals
Anaheim Elementary School District Anaheim Succeeds! ELO-P Murals-
“Making a Beautiful Difference”
The goal of ELO-P programming is to provide engaging experiences for AESD scholars that are culturally relevant to create lasting inspiration for our scholars. Through ELO-P funding, all AESD school sites have access to a residency or an enrichment mural program for Anaheim Succeeds! The local muralist, Ms. Carla Roque, joins the ELO-P programming to share the background of murals, understand their cultural contributions to our community, and experience the lasting influence it leaves on a school site.

The inspirational murals have been used as an engagement piece for our Anaheim Elementary School District students to participate in the beauty of community art with a talented muralist- Carla Roque. By having students involved in creating art at their school site, the passion, ownership, and love for their school community is evident and grows throughout the project. This is part of the Anaheim Succeeds! ELO-P after school programming in the Anaheim Elementary School District will be participating in the mural project.
